The Greek national team (3-0) without Giannis Antetokounmpo overcame Great Britain's (0-3) challenge with a strong second-half performance to reach their third win in three games in Group C of EuroBasket 2022.

Kostas Sloukas led the Greeks to a win with a final score of 93-77 (24-17, 26-22, 25-17, 22-17).

Sloukas led the winning team with 21 points (3/4 2PT, 5/6 3PT), 5 assists, and 3 rebounds for 25 EFF.

For Great Britain, Luke Nelson had 17 points (2/4 2PT, 4/8 3PT, 1/2 FT), 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals.

Great Britain managed to stay in the game for a little over two and a half quarters. Eventually, Kostas Sloukas, Kostas Papanikolaou, and Greece proved to be too much for the British squad.

Greece made a 10-2 run in the middle of the third quarter behind two 3-pointers from Sloukas to gain a 9-point advantage (63-54).

After that Greece only kept increasing the lead, despite Luke Nelson's efforts. Before the final quarter Greeks had an 11-point lead (71-60).

After a strong start to the fourth quarter, in which Georgios Papagiannis scored 11 points by himself, the rest of the game was just a formality.

Greece: Kostas Sloukas 21 (5 AST), Georgios Papagiannis 17 (6 REB), Kostas Papanikolaou 10 (7 REB, 5 AST), Michail Lountzis 10 (5 AST);

Great Britain: Luke Nelson 17 (4 REB), Myles Hesson 13, Ovie Soko 12, Dan Clark 11.
