Poland (3-1) completed a strong comeback to earn its third victory in EuroBasket 2022 against the Netherlands (0-4) 75-69 (19-20, 12-20, 17-15, 27-14).

With the teams separated by just a single point (65-66), Michal Sokolowski drew a foul while shooting a three-pointer. After converting two of the three free throws, Poland was already leading by three (68-65).

After a successful defensive possession, Sokolowski once again finished the attack, this time with a dunk to put Poland up by five (70-65).  Although the Netherlands managed to cut the deficit down to three (67-70), Aleksander Balcerowski answered the effort with another dunk (72-67).

The slight underdogs did not give up but it was enough time left to mount a successful comeback. The Polish converted all but one of their free throws and completed the comeback.

At one point in the game, Poland was down by 12 (37-49) but managed to overcome the deficit to earn its third victory in the tournament.

Michal Sokolowski led the Polish with 24 points on efficient 8-for-10 shooting, making 7 two-pointers out of 8, while also converting 7 free throws out of 11. Aleksander Balcerowski added 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists.
