Finland (3-2) got the job done early in their last group phase game against the Netherlands (0-5), eventually comfortably winning the match with a final score of 88-67 (26-11, 22-20, 28-28, 12-18).

Finland started the game with a 10-2 push, and since that point of the duel, they never looked back and finished the contest with a convincing W.

Who else if not Lauri Markkanen led the way for the winners. The new Utah Jazz big man posted 22 points (3/5 2PT, 4/6 3PT, 4/4 FT), 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and a game-high 23 EFF.

Finland is now second in Group D but the two remaining games -- Israel vs the Czech Republic and Serbia vs Poland -- will decide their ultimate spot.

Finland: Lauri Markkanen 22, Shawn Huff 14, Edon Maxhuni 9 (5 AST).

Netherlands: Worthy De Jong 21, Keye Van Der Vuurst De Vries 9 (5 AST), Charlon Kloof 8.
