Germany prevailed over Greece in EuroBasket 2022 quarter-final by scoring 107 points and handing the Greeks their first loss of the tournament.

Giannoulis Larentzakis was a newly found weapon on Greece's team in this game but it was the defense that was lacking.

Larentzakis, who had his best EuroBasket 2022 game against Germany finishing with 18 points without missing from the field and converting on all four 3-pointers, showed great disappointment and talked in a press conference about the game.

"We are very disappointed. We couldn't stop the Germans' offense, we conceded 107 points and with high percentages," said Larentzakis, who was visibly disappointed.

"Germany made 17 3-pointers. They definitely started well, they felt comfortable, and then it was very difficult to match that," added Larentzakis.

Germany, who put on an offensive clinic on Tuesday night by scoring 107 points, will meet Spain as their semi-final opponent on Friday at 20:30 CEST. Spain also put together a great offensive game to advance to the semi-final by outscoring Finland 100-90 earlier on Tuesday.
