Dennis Schroder received two technicals and was ejected from Germany's EuroBasket 2022 quarter-final win against Greece with a final score of 107-96.

Schroder had his own answer to justify the reaction that netted him a second technical foul of the game and kicked him out. The German point guard revealed on his Instagram account saying that he reacted in this way because he and his family were insulted.

The story Schroder posted on his Instagram had this message:

"Greek Fans!!! Crazy atmosphere tonight. I can tolerate a lot from players but saying B**** or something about my family is outta pocket! & it's not right, so please don't tell me how to react to it! Everybody stay blessed."

Schroder got ejected in the fourth quarter, minutes after Greece's superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo was also removed from the game for the second unsportsmanlike foul.

The German point guard scored 26 points (5/9 2PT, 3/6 3PT, 7/7 FT), dished out 8 assists, and finished the game with a team-high 27 EFF over 31 minutes before getting ejected.

Germany will meet Spain as their semi-final opponent on Friday at 20:30 CEST, who had a great scoring quarter-final game themselves by defeating Finland 100-90.
