EuroBasket 2022 playoffs: Ponitka scores triple-double to eliminate Doncic

Mateusz Ponitka registered just the fourth triple-double in EuroBasket history as Luka Doncic and Slovenia have been eliminated from the tournament by Poland.

After France took a win against Italy in the first quarterfinal of the day, Luka Doncic's Slovenia and Poland go head to head in the last match of the day to determine the one remaining semifinal participant.

Slovenia arrives at the matchup after a convincing win against Belgium even though their opponents gave a fight throughout the vast majority of the match.

Poland, on the other hand, faces Slovenia after overcoming Ukraine in the Round of 16, even though the Poles were marked as the underdogs.
