Golden State Warriors star forward Draymond Green voiced his opinion about Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury majority owner Robert Sarver, saying he should not be able to continue to represent NBA.

Green talked about the situation on his own podcast called The Draymond Green Show. The Warriors forward stated his opinion and noted that someone like Sarver shouldn't be representing other people.

"This report that came out last week is the total opposite of everything that the NBA stands for," Green said.

"And so to think that someone like Robert Sarver, that is acting in that manner, can continue to represent us? That's bulls--t. You can't continue to represent way more people than yourself with those views," Green continued.

"With speaking to people the way he did, with treating African Americans and women the way he has. That's not OK," added Green.

The warriors veteran also asked for a vote among NBA governors to decide whether terminate Sarver's position after his one-year suspension. NBA rules would require at least three-quarters of the board of governors to remove him, according to Baxter Holmes of ESPN.

First time Sarver's misconduct has surfaced back in November 2021, when he faced allegations of racism and misogyny.

NBA suspended Sarver for one year and fined him $10 million after an independent investigation concluded revealing racist and sexist behaviors earlier in September. However, many sees that as too light of a punishment, including LeBron James, who recently had his say on the matter as well.
