Larry Nance Jr. agreed to a 2-year $21.6 million contract extension with the New Orleans Pelicans.
The New Orleans Pelicans are continuing to form the core of players that will lead the team in the upcoming years.
The club has reached a deal with Larry Nance Jr. for a two-year contract extension worth $21.6 million.
The player was entering the last year of his previous 4-year $48 million contract. He will now join Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram, and CJ McCollum to remain on the team with long-term deals.

Nance joined the Pelicans via a McCollum-centered trade with the Portland Trail BlazersThe forward managed to play 15 games for the franchise since - 9 in the regular season and 6 in the playoffs - after healing a right knee injury.
"I'm finally healthy," Nance said recently. "I played the end of the season still recovering from the surgery. The meniscus surgery I had, I didn't realize how long that had been bothering me. I had lost a step, lost a little bit of balance, and all that came back in the summer. I feel good. I feel better than I have the last few years."
