Russell Westbrook failed to make a field goal in the game between two Los Angeles teams: the Lakers and the Clippers. He missed all his 11 shots and later labeled his performance as 'solid'.

Russell Westbrook scored two points in the Los Angeles Lakers' home-opening loss to Clippers, 97-103.

The star guard left a game without a single field goal made. He went 0/11 overall, missing five two-pointers and six three-pointers. His two points came after a couple of successful shots from the free-throw line.

Asked how he would assess his game after the losing effort, Westbrook responded: "Solid, solid."

Westbrook posted his first 0-FG game since January 2016. At that time, he went 0 for 3 against the Dallas Mavericks -- a game in which he was ejected in the second quarter -- and just the fourth time in his career, per CBS Sports.

The entire Lakers team made 33 field goals in 94 attempts (35.1%). Their three-point shooting numbers were even worse: nine long-range shots made in 45 tries (20.0%).
