Alex Abrines ready to play against Milan

Alex Abrines was cleared from concussion protocol to participate in Friday's EuroLeague game against Milan.

Alex Abrines will return to the basketball court this Friday, for the EuroLeague Round 5 game between FC Barcelona and EA7 Emporio Armani Milan (at 20:30 CET) at Palau Blaugrana.

The Spanish forward is already practicing with his teammates, Mundo Deportivo reports.

Abrines suffered a scary hit and didn't return to the EuroLeague game in Kaunas last Thursday.

Zalgiris wing Ignas Brazdeikis accidentally elbowed Abrines to his ear. FC Barcelona shooter couldn't get up from the floor for a while and left the floor dizzy. He sustained a mild concussion, per BasketNews sources.

Abrines missed Sunday's ACB League match against Lenovo Tenerife.

The 29-year-old is averaging 6.2 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 8.5 PIR this EuroLeague season.

Ahead of the game against Milan, coach Sarunas Jasikevicus provided an injury update on Kyle Kuric and Nikola Mirotic.
