Peristeri Athens came to Vilnius with a 2-0 balance after beating Bnei Herzliya and Lenovo Tenerife at home.

But Rytas were no match for the team coached by Vassilis Spanoulis, and the final score 89-64 (25-15, 27-11, 22-25, 15-13) is a reflection of the show that Giedrius Sibenas and his players offered to their crowd.

Rytas, who were coming off a 0-2 record, started the game without taking their foot off the gas (21-4), and although the Greeks resisted for a couple of minutes in the second quarter, cutting down the deficit to six, everything was easy for the Lithuanian side after that.
