Darius Garland is ready to return on the basketball court against the Boston Celtics tonight since eye injury.
Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star point guard Darius Garland will make his return to the lineup tonight vs. Boston Celtics, according to Shams Chrania of The Athletic.
Garland has been sidelined since Oct. 19 due to an an eye injury suffered while playing 13 minutes in Cleveland's season opener in Toronto.
The 22-year-old has been out for five games since he was accidentally poked in the eye by Raptors' Gary Trent Jr. Garland sustained a cut to his eyelid, and has been dealing with excessive swelling.
The Cavs have gone 5-0 without Garland.
Garland averaged 21.7 points, 8.6 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 35.7 minutes per game during the 2021-22 campaign, all the highest marks of his career.
