Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade forward Luka Mitrovic missed both games in the ABA League and in the EuroLeague last week due to a muscle strain.

However, Mozzart Sport write that the player has since recovered and is expected to join the roster in an ABA League match against Zadar this evening.

Following the matchup, Nemanja Nedovic, Ognjen Dobric, and Nikola Topic will join Mitrovic on the Serbian national team.

Serbia's head coach Svetislav Pesic will have Danilo Andjusic and Uros Trifunovic at his disposal from Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade as Balsa Koprivica has suffered an injury that will sideline him for an extended period of time.

Serbia currently sits in fourth place in Group I of the Second Round of the 2023 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers. The team will square off against Great Britain and Turkey during the upcoming window.

Pesic made headlines several weeks ago, claiming that Great Britain is stronger than Serbia, to which the British head coach answered with surprise and irony.
