Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James suffered an apparent injury during the game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

James left the court with less than 6 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, as the Lakers lost 101-114.

James walked off the court slowly after being subbed out, going straight to the locker room for examination.

However, in the post-game media availability, James confirmed he's feeling well.

"How do I feel right now? I feel good besides the injury. I'll get pictures on it tomorrow, and then we'll go from there," James told reporters.

He added that he landed on a play and felt a "spasm or a strain". James assured his injury is not as bad as the groin injury he suffered against Golden State on Christmas in 2018.

In 32 minutes, LeBron accumulated 30 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists before leaving the game due to an injury.

Lakers head coach Darvin Ham said James is suffering leg discomfort and will be evaluated by the team's medical staff soon.

Before the game against the Clippers, James was listed as questionable. LeBron also admitted that he needs rest, but at the same time, he must play.

"Rest is the only way, I was told," said James. "Rest is the only way to help it, which I don't have. I'll be in the lineup tonight. I see how my foot feels, obviously, I try to manage it. My health is the most important [thing]. We're monitoring it day by day."
