Nikola Ivanovic avoided serious injury and is expected to be available vs. ASVEL.

Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade welcomed good news regarding Nikola Ivanovic, who avoided a serious injury.

Ivanovic took part in the recent team's practice and is expected to be available for the game vs. LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne.

The 28-year-old Montenegrin had to leave the 2023 FIBA World Cup European Qualifiers game vs. Lithuania after suffering an ankle injury.

In the middle of the fourth quarter, Ivanovic asked the referee to stop the game and limped to his team's bench. Ivanovic was in visible pain.

Crvena Zvezda's guard did not return to the court after the sustained injury. He finished the match with 11 points, 3 assists, and 9 EFF in 27 minutes.

Ivanovic averages 5.0 points, 1.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 5.7 PIR over seven EuroLeague games this season.
