Paul George reassured Clippers owner Steve Ballmer his knee injury was nothing to worry about: "A little soreness, but it's okay. I'm okay."
Paul George scored 21 points in the first half, as the host Los Angeles Clippers rolled to a 119-97 win over the struggling San Antonio Spurs on Saturday.
Though, George sat out the second half with right knee soreness following five 3-pointers through the first 24 minutes.
After the game, George reassured Clippers owner Steve Ballmer his injury was nothing to worry about.
"I'm okay, I'm okay. A little soreness, but it's okay. I'm okay," he said.
George, a seven-time All-Star, averages 23.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 4.5 assists this season.
