Round 11 Crvena Zvezda-Virtus game gets pushed due to FIFA World Cup

Round 11 game between Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade and Virtus Segafredo Bologna was moved from 19:00 CET to 18:00 CET on December 2nd due to the Serbian football national team playing against Switzerland in the FIFA World Cup.

Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade played unusually earlier against Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv in the EuroLeague yesterday. With changes being made due to Serbia participating in the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, one more match's time has been changed because of it.

After the Round 10 matchup got moved, Zvezda's Round 11 game against Virtus Segafredo Bologna has been rescheduled as well. With the previous schedule, the teams were supposed to battle at 19:00 CET. They will now play an hour earlier, i.e. at 18:00 CET.

The move was performed due to the Serbian football national team playing against Switzerland in the FIFA World Cup at 20:00 CET on the same evening.

After a fierce 40-minute fight, the Serbian club got one more victory against Maccabi yesterday. It was the third win with the new head coach Dusko Ivanovic leading the team after Vladimir Jovanovic was let go earlier this month.

Both Crvena Zvezda and Virtus have 4 victories in their accounts at the moment, pending today's match between the Italian team and Anadolu Efes Istanbul.
