The Spurs lost Zach Collins to an ejection for a flagrant foul on Russell Westbrook, who got hurt in the head.
Russell Westbrook suffered a deep cut at his hairline after taking a right elbow from Zach Collins in Los Angeles Lakers' 143-138 win in San Antonio on Saturday.
After rebounding his own missed layup, Westbrook faked a follow and the Spurs' reserve center Collins blocked Westbrook at the rim with two minutes left in the third quarter.
Lakers star began bleeding profusely immediately but quickly rose from the court to confront Collins. He was restrained by LeBron James.

Westbrook was issued a technical foul while Collins was ejected after a video review.
"Unfortunately, my elbow just caught his head and he started bleeding and it looked terrible," Collins said after the game. "But I honestly wasn't trying to do anything. I just didn't want him to get a shot off."
"It was quick. Doctor looked at it, closed it up, and I came back out," Westbrook described a couple of minutes after receiving an elbow, who later was glad that his teammates kept an eye on him at that moment.
Lakers head coach Darvin Ham said LeBron jumping to aid Westbrook showed "the brotherhood, image, and action that represents the Lakers as a team and franchise."
LeBron James stated he first wanted to treat Westbrook's cut since "his health is more important than the game."
Westbrook finished the match with 11 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 6 turnovers.
LeBron scored a season-high 39 points.
