FC Bayern Munich suffered an injury blow as the team's captain Vladimir Lucic will miss several weeks of action, the German club announced.

Lucic suffered an elbow injury, but Bayern didn't specify his exact return date. The 33-year-old Serbian already missed the game against Maccabi on Friday.

Lucic averages 8.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 9.2 PIR in 10 EuroLeague games.

Bayern also announced that Augustine Rubit would need at least a week of rest who suffered a groin injury.

Rubit averages 7.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 9.5 PIR in 10 EuroLeague contests.

However, these are not the only problems for Bayern. Corey Walden suffered an ankle injury in the game against Oldenburg, while Nick Weiler-Babb injured his hip in the same match.

There's no timetable neither for Walden nor Weiler-Babb.

Bayern will face Baskonia on Friday at 20:30 CET.
