Trae Young got fined for throwing the ball into the crowd after AJ Griffin won the game for the Hawks against the Bulls with a turnaround last-second shot. The start guard took to Twitter to express his emotions.
Several days ago, AJ Griffin won the game with a turnaround mid-air jumper for the Atlanta Hawks against the Chicago Bulls. Following the game, Hawks superstar Trae Young was fined $25,000 for his behavior after the final buzzer.
When the final horn sounded, Young took the game-winning ball and heaved it into the crowd in pure joy. The NBA deemed it to be an unsportsmanlike act and issued a fine for the star guard.
When he found out about it, Trae took to Twitter to express his emotions.

"Sorry to the Hawks fan(s) who got a chance to touch the game-winning ball. Didn’t know I couldn’t do that," Young tweeted. "Can’t celebrate s**t anymore."
Young has been averaging 27.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 9.6 assists per game for the Hawks this season. However, his field goal shooting splits are the worst in his 5-year NBA career.
