Facundo Campazzo has done some training sessions with the team after officially joining Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade earlier this week.

According to Sportklub, the Argentinian guard followed the rest of the squad to Greece, where he will have a chance to make his first appearance for his new club in Round 15.

However, Red Star are currently prohibited from registering new players and coaches for EuroLeague play, and that issue will need to be resolved before Campazzo can play. It remains to be seen if that will occur prior to tip-off Thursday.

"After the Administrative Control Commission initiated legal proceedings against Crvena Zvezda on the basis of existing due obligations and failure to submit the necessary data, the Financial Council issued a temporary measure prohibiting the registration of new players and coaches," the EuroLeague stated at the time.

The Serbian club pointed out that it is "a conditional ban on bringing in players and coaches of an administrative nature, and that it will be resolved as soon as possible".

If Crvena Zvezda resolve all the administrative and paperwork procedures, there is a possibility that the former Real Madrid point guard will play his first minutes with Zvezda.

However, this is also a big question considering the small number of training sessions.

"Campazzo is a player who has a lot of experience, he proved himself in the Euroleague, but he hasn't played recently while he was in America, so he will need time to catch up with our rhythm. In any case, we hope that he will help us achieve our goals," coach Dusko Ivanovic said and added:

"It will take him some time to fit in. It's usually said that a team is only as strong as its strongest and weakest player. We will see," the Montenegrin coach pointed out.
