Keenan Evans had surgery after the torn Achilles, and will be out for 6-8 months, Zalgiris Kaunas officially announced.
Evans got injured in Thursday's EuroLeague game against Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul.
He grabbed a defensive rebound just 50 seconds into the match, made one dribble, stumbled, and fell on the ground.
The undisputed leader of the team was in serious pain while holding his Achilles.
Keenan Evans has averaged 15.9 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 17.4 PIR over 17 EuroLeague games this season.
