Anadolu Efes were leading by 16 points in the middle of the third quarter (59-43) but the German team bounced back. Bayern ended the quarter with an impressive 16-5 run and were down by just five points (64-59).

Shot after shot, Bayern continued to overtake Efes and already had a 10-point lead with two minutes remaining in the game (87-77). The reigning EuroLeague champions didn't manage to come back and suffered their second loss in the last three games.
