Kristaps Porzingis injury: out for at least two weeks

Washington Wizards big man Kristaps Porzingis will be listed as week-to-week with a sprained left ankle, via the official club's report.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, there's the optimism of a Porzingis return to the Washington lineup within two weeks.

The injury originally occurred in the third quarter of the team's 138-118 win over the Orlando Magic on January 21.

The 27-year-old Latvian scored 17 points in 23 minutes before exiting the game early.

Porzingis averages 22.1 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.5 blocks.

He has stayed healthy this season for the most part, appearing in 41 of Washington's 46 games.

The Wizards rank 12th in the Eastern Conference with 20 wins and 26 losses. The team is one win away from the Play-In zone.
