Clippers target Kyle Lowry and Fred VanVleet.
The Los Angeles Clippers are interested in Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry and Toronto Raptors All-Star Fred VanVleet, according to Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer.
A week ago, NBA insider Marc Stein reported that the Clippers are also looking to acquire Mike Conley from the Utah Jazz.
Nevertheless, Heat and Raptors guards sound like championship-material additions, as they already know how to win the Larry O'Brien Trophy. Both lifted it in 2009 with the Raptors.
Lowry, a six-time All-Star, averages 12.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 5.4 assists over 39 games this season, his second with Miami and 17th in the NBA.
VanVleet, who was an All-Star last season, registers 19.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 6.3 assists in 39 starts, in his 7th NBA campaign, all with the Raptors.
