Despite the serious interest from Panathinaikos Athens, former NBAer Shabazz Napier is in advanced negotiations with EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, according to Encestando.
BasketNews sources confirm that the Italian team is negotiating with Napier. No deal yet, but talks are progressing, and Milan looks like the frontrunner to sign the 31-year-old point guard as of right now.
Napier is currently playing in the G-League with the Mexico City Capitals, averaging 22.3 points, 5.1 assists, and 2.2 rebounds on 47.2% from the field, 46.4% 3-point shooting, and 81.6% from the charity stripe.
