FC Barcelona had a hard time before prevailing over visiting Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv on Tuesday night.

And although the Catalan side has racked up 14 wins in 22 EuroLeague games, coach Sarunas Jasikevicius, made some remarkable statements, urging his players to emulate Olympiacos Piraeus' style.

The Greeks got another win, their 15th in the season, crushing hosts Fenerbahce Beko in Istanbul. The squad coached by Giorgos Bartzokas received Dimitris Itoudis' praise for the way they swept their contests against the Turkish side by a total margin of 48 points.

Olympiacos also beat FC Barcelona 80-70 in the Palau Blaugrana in the season opener. The two teams will clash again in Piraeus on March 7.

Jasikevicius is aware of the Reds' strengths. Maybe that's why he asked his team to use Olympiacos as an example of an opponent who doesn't let opponents' mistakes go unpunished.

"I ask my team to stay solid, we have to learn not to make serious mistakes," the Lithuanian tactician said in the postgame presser.

"There are teams ahead of us, like Olympiacos, that won't give you anything. I also told my players that Olympiakos is an example for us. We've seen most of their matches and they don't give you any chance of error," Saras continued.

"It seems we can improve, but we are giving away a lot. We're not learning. You have to make the other team suffer for everything and not give things away," Barca's coach stressed.
