An utterly disappointing season for EA7 Emporio Armani Milan has been made even worse by Germani Brescia.

In the match that opened the Italian Final Eight in Turin, Ettore Messina's team was beaten by 75-72 (20-19, 25-10, 11-26, 17-19). On Saturday, February 18 (20:45), Brescia will face the winner of the duel between Pesaro and Varese.

Germani were ahead 20-19 after the first ten minutes, as the team coached by Alessandro Magro played with great intensity on defense. Milan got confused offensively and delivered a second period with just 10 points scored, collapsing by 16 points at the interval (45-29).
