Panathinaikos Athens earned a come-from-behind victory against Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade in the EuroLeague Round 28 last week. However, the club will have to pay for it.

The EuroLeague announced that the Greek team has received a €5,000 fine for the actions of its fans during the game. In particular, the league notes that the club was sanctioned for "lighting of fireworks crackers and flares, and for the use of laser pointers".

The loss put a significant dent in the chances of Crvena Zvezda advancing to the playoffs. Meanwhile, Panathinaikos do not have not even a mathematical chance of going through to the next round.
