Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade made a huge step toward EuroLeague playoffs on Thursday, easily defeating Anadolu Efes Istanbul in the Sinan Erdem Dome. On top of that, the team reached a record that is very unlikely.

Partizan didn't miss a single free throw in the last game, making all 28. Zach Leday led the team with 8 made shots, and Mathias Lessort had 7.

This is the second-best result in the entire EuroLeague history, being topped only by Real Madrid which made 34 free throws without a single miss back in the 2001-02 season.

What is more, the Serbian team did not miss a single free throw in the first matchup between the two squads in December as well.

That time, Partizan made all 16 free throws. Overall, Partizan did not miss a single free throw through both regular season games against Efes, making all 44 of them.

Only four teams had previously managed to do it in the EuroLeague but the biggest number of combined free throws made without a single error was 38, which was previously held by Zalgiris Kaunas (21, 2021-22 vs Maccabi).

With 16 wins and 13 losses, Partizan currently share 6th place in the EuroLeague standings with Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv. Meanwhile, Efes now have a record of 14 wins and 15 losses and sit in 11th place.
