Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James returned to the basketball court on Sunday against the Chicago Bulls. After the game, the forward expanded on his injury situation.

"I tore a tendon in my foot," the player said. "The doctors told me I was healing faster than anybody they'd seen with the injury."

Asked whether he was suggested to undergo surgery, James revealed that two doctors recommended the procedure. "I went to the LeBron James of feet, and he told me I shouldn't [get the surgery]," he later added.

Later on, the journalists inquired whether he would consider the surgery at any time during the offseason. LeBron was sure that if he does it, nobody from the media will know.

"I don't know. Right now, I don't need it, we'll see what happens. I'll probably get another MRI at the end of the season and go from there," James commented. "If I happen to get surgery after the season, you guys won't know. I don't talk to you guys in the offseason, and by the time the next season starts, I'll be fine and ready to go."

In his first game after the injury, James finished the game with 19 points on 6-for-11 shooting and 8 rebounds but it was not enough for the Lakers to end up victorious.

With 37 wins and 38 losses, the Lakers are currently 9th in the Western Conference.
