Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade achieved a crucial win against Valencia Basket, keeping their EuroLeague playoffs hopes alive, and Facundo Campazzo is eager to fight until the end.

With a 14-17 record, Crvena Zvezda stand in 12th place, trailing by two victories from 8-9th placed Baskonia and Zalgiris (both 16-15).

Even though Crvena Zvezda's chances of making the Top 8 are incredibly slim, Campazzo doesn't give up just yet.

Campazzo finished the game with 15 points (3/5 2PT, 1/5 3PT, 6/6 FT), 2 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals, 4 turnovers, 8 drawn fouls, and 22 PIR.

"We need every win from now until the end of the season," Campazzo told EuroLeague TV after the game. "This win is very important because we didn't have any other options, and [reaching the playoffs] is not in our hands. We will fight until the end, and winning today means a lot to us ahead of the trip to ASVEL."

"We were smart in every possession as we shared the ball and played for the guy who was on fire at a particular moment. We also took advantage of playing here in front of our fans. That's our extra energy," Campazzo added.

Filip Petrusev, who contributed to the win with a game-high 20 points (5/6 2PT, 2/4 3PT, 4/6 FT), 7 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block, and a game-high 26 PIR, also showed a familiar mentality.

"We played with energy," Petrusev said. "We made some mistakes, especially in the first quarter when they scored some easy points, but we were solid in defense for the rest of the game."

"We have to forget this one, practice tomorrow and get ready for the next game. We have three games left, we want to win all three and see what happens," concluded Crvena Zvezda's forward.

Crvena Zvezda will face ASVEL on Friday at 21:00 CET.
