Dzanan Musa assured that the team will have Gabriel Deck's back. Meanwhile, Adam Hanga noted that although Deck is a really important player, Real Madrid have been riddled with injuries throughout the entire season and are already used to it.

Real Madrid's forward Gabriel Deck will not compete with the team in the Final Four in Kaunas after getting injured in Game 4 of the quarterfinal series against Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade. Two of his teammates have a message for Deck, who will support the team from the comfort of his home.

Deck suffered an MCL tear in Game 4 against Partizan when he was fighting for a loose ball. Partizan's Zach LeDay dove for the ball but accidentally fell on Deck's leg, injuring the Real Madrid star.

It was later announced that the Argentinian forward would be out for at least two months.

Deck did not fly with the team to Kaunas. Instead, he will be following the games in Madrid. Dzanan Musa and Adam Hanga wanted to send a message to the injured teammate.

"We got him, we'll fight for him," Musa said. "It's a very ugly thing that happened to him, but we've got his back."

Hanga, on the other side, expanded on the issue of dealing with injuries throughout the season both in the EuroLeague and the Spanish Liga Endesa (ACB).

"Obviously, he's one of the players that's very important for us. Gabi is a player that always gives some extra energy on the court, but this is basketball, we're used to playing without some of the key players throughout the whole season," Hanga said.

"We have a team of 15-16 players. Anthony Randolph, for example, was injured for the entire season and only came back for the playoff series, so we're used to it. It's only one game now, everybody has to be ready, everybody has to be prepared like every single time and get this win," he concluded.

Real Madrid will play against FC Barcelona in the EuroLeague semifinal on Friday, May 19th, at 20:00 CET.
