After an impressive run of five consecutive German League Finals appearances, including three straight championships, ALBA Berlin's dominance was halted in the quarterfinals this year.

Despite their strong track record, second-seeded ALBA fell short against seventh-seeded Ulm, suffering an 81-83 defeat in the decisive game on Wednesday night and losing the best-of-five series 1-3.

It's the first quarterfinals exit for ALBA since 2017.

Alongside their domestic league campaign, ALBA also competed in the prestigious EuroLeague tournament. However, their EuroLeague journey was challenging, as they finished in the 15th position during the regular season, with an 11-23 record.
