Looking at the upcoming season, Partizan have quite a few doubts to solve: several key players are out of contract, and keeping them all together won't be easy. How the EuroLeague season ended was hard to swallow, but the presence of Zeljko Obradovic provided the type of reassurance the club needs.

The EuroLeague season that just ended was definitely a rollercoaster of emotions for Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade.

The team coached by legendary Zeljko Obradovic returned to the major European competition for the first time since the 2013-14 season, which is basically a lifetime ago in basketball terms.

Despite the disappointing elimination in the first round of the EuroCup playoffs in the previous season, the Serbian club decided to run it back, keeping most of the roster from the last season.

The core remained intact, and a few key additions were made over the summer, most importantly Dante Exum and James Nunnally.

However, at the end of the season, Kevin Punter, Mathias Lessort, Dante Exum, Zach LeDay, and James Nunnally will all become free agents, and retaining them all in Belgrade will be difficult, to say the least.

On the other hand, in terms of potential arrivals, the Serbian club might see the return of a familiar face.
