Here are some highlights from the last week:

Kostas Sloukas' move from Olympiacos to Panathinaikos has raised a lot of controversy. BasketNews looks at how both sides handled his case, the expectations on the Greens' camp, and how the Greek guard came to make the most important decision in his career.

Thorsten Leibenath, Ratiopharm Ulm's sports director, explains how the 7-seed overcame two EuroLeague squads and the BCL winners on the way to its first BBL title. The German executive also weighs in on Brazilian players' and Spanish coaches' success in Germany and reflects on what Ulm would bring to the EuroLeague.

Even though Paulius Motiejunas still has many challenges ahead, his start as the EuroLeague CEO looks promising due to his early success in various fields.

In his NBA Summer League debut, Victor Wembanyama showed some promising potential in a few areas that might not be easy for a casual fan to see. However, his first game against Charlotte showed what he still lacks and could learn from Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Paris Lee opens up on his relationship with Dimitris Giannakopoulos and Ergin Ataman's part in his departure from PAO. He also explains how rumors created uncertainty in the locker room and comments on the most important moves in the EuroLeague market.

After not making the playoffs last season, Dallas Mavericks were looking for changes this off-season. The front office was aware that this team needed more defense and athleticism, and so far, they have nailed pretty much every move. Will it be enough to fight for the title again?
