Lamar Odom's Mercedes-Benz collided with parked cars in an early morning accident in a residential area near his home. Ex-NBA player avoided injuries.
Former NBA forward Lamar Odom had a car accident in the early Sunday morning hours when he crashed his Mercedes-Benz into two parked cars.
Odom's representative told TMZ the incident occurred around 3 AM in a residential area near his home.
The 43-year-old had been driving back from a friend's place in Northridge when he accidentally dropped his phone inside his Mercedes. In an attempt to retrieve it, he lost control of his vehicle and collided with two parked cars on the street.
Fortunately, Odom emerged from the accident unharmed and did not require any medical attention.
However, his Mercedes sustained significant damage as a result of the collision. The airbags in his car deployed, ensuring his safety.
Although the police were called to the scene, the LAPD did not file a formal police report following their response.
After the accident, the owners of the vehicles that had been impacted came out of their homes, and Odom cooperatively provided them with his insurance information to address the damages caused by the collision.
