Aleksa Avramovic returned to the Partizan roster, but didn't play against Mega in the ABA SuperCup due to an ankle injury.
Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade got through to the semifinal round of the ABA SuperCup. They did it with just one point guard.
Mega MIS kept the game close in the fourth quarter and trailed by just four (75-79) with half the period left, but a quick 6-0 by Partizan decided the game.
Talking about it after the match, head coach Zeljko Obradovic admitted that the team still has a long way to go.

"It is clear that the team is not at the level required for any official competition yet, given that the preparation period was short and we played few games. But we decided to do so because we have a very busy season ahead of us - in the first two months, we will have ten games each, and in December and January 11 [games] each," Obradovic explained.
Ponitka got injured during team practice before the trip, and it was decided that the player would stay in Belgrade. Aleksa Avramovic was registered for the game but did not play a single second.
"There were a lot of mistakes in defense, we are working on it. Matches are the best indicator of that," the coach said. "You prepare in one way, then some other things come up that you can't influence."
"Ponitka stayed in Belgrade, Aleksa Avramovic just returned after the World Cup, he also has a problem with his ankle. Aleksa should do one gym session, that preparatory practice before the game... That is nothing unusual for this part of the season, and we played almost all of the last preparations with one real playmaker," Obradovic concluded.
