AX Armani Exchange Milan announced the signing of guard Jerian Grant. The 28-year-old signed a two-year contract with the team.
Jerian Grant comes from a family of basketball players. His father is a former NBA player Harvey Grant, who spent 11 years in the league. Harvey's identical twin brother Horace Grant played 17 seasons in the NBA, won four championships, and is a one-time All-Star.
Jerian Grant has two brothers, who are also professional basketball players. The youngest brother Jerami Grant plays for the Detroit Pistons. He averaged 22.3 points and 4.6 rebounds last season and was one of the main candidates to win the Most Improved Player award, eventually losing to Julius Randle.
The other brother is center, Jerai Grant. He was a teammate of Jerian last season - both of them were members of Promitheas Patras.
Jerian played 27 games in the Greek Basket League last season. The 1.96 m swingman averaged 14.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 6.9 assists, and 2.2 steals.
After completing four years at the University of Notre Dame, Jerian Grant was selected 15th overall in the 2015 NBA Draft. He bounced around the NBA and G Leagues: Grant was a member of the New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls, their G League affiliate Windy City Bulls, and the Orlando Magic.
Jerian spent last year playing for the Washington Wizards and their G League team, the Capital City Go-Go. He is set to make a EuroLeague debut next season.
