Real Madrid made the signing of Thomas Heurtel official. The Frenchman, a former combo guard for FC Barcelona, comes from ASVEL Villeurbanne, where he finished the 2020-21 campaign after the Catalan club removed him from their roster last December.
Heurtel signed a one-year deal. After he went through the customary medical examination, the newly acquired player posed with his Madrid shirt.

Heurtel, 32, opens a new stage in his career after a turbulent departure from FC Barcelona, who reportedly left him stranded at the Istanbul airport upon finding out about his negotiations with Real Madrid.
Following his uneventful Barcelona stint, Heurtel signed with ASVEL with Real Madrid's permission.
