Team USA's problems before the upcoming Tokyo Olympic Games continue.

USA Basketball released a statement that out of an abundance of caution, Zach LaVine has been placed under health and safety protocols and will not travel with the team to Tokyo on Monday.

USA Basketball hopes that Zach will be able to join the team in Tokyo later this week.

Last season in the NBA, LaVine was averaging 27.4 points, 5 rebounds, and 4.9 assists.

Bradley Beal already left Team USA after contracting coronavirus, while Jerami Grant was also placed in health and safety protocols. However, Grant is already cleared and will be able to travel with the team.

The Tokyo Olympic Games will begin on July 25.
