Less than 20 days after parting ways with Zenit Saint Petersburg, where he played for two seasons and also made his EuroLeague debut, Austin Hollins signed a new deal with another EuroLeague club, KK Crvena Zvezda, as the club officially announced. The deal is valid for one year, until the end of the 2021-22 campaign.
Austin Hollins, born on November 9, 1991, plays primarily as a guard and forward. He comes from a basketball family and he is the son of the famous NBA player and coach Lionel Hollins who won NBA titles as a Portland player in 1977 and the assistant coach of the LA Lakers (2020).
His son Austin took a different path. In Europe he gradually built his name with his game, playing in France and Denmark, and having excellent performances in Germany with Giessen and especially with Rasta Vechta (2018-2019) brought him the opportunity to try in the EuroLeague.

He comes fresh from his participation in the NBA Summer League with the Washington Wizards. With Zenmit, he averaged 10.2 points, 2 rebounds in the VTB League, and 8.2 points in the EuroLeague.
Hollins is the seventh reinforcement of KK Crvena Zvezda in the transfer market after the arrival of Ivanovic, Aaron White, and the return of Nikola Kalinic, Luka Mitrovic, Stefan Lazarevic, and Nate Walters. With the gathering of the roster and the medical tests scheduled at the end of this week, KK Crvena Zvezda will officially start preparations for the new season in which they will compete on four fronts: EuroLeague, ABA league, domestic cup, and the domestic league.
