Zenit St. Petersburg's injury woes continue. According to BasketNews sources, Zenit's point guard Conner Frankamp suffered an ankle injury.

A 26-year-old American might miss a few weeks of action, sources say BasketNews.

Frankamp averaged 7.8 points (2FG: 55.1%, 3FG: 43.8%) and 1.4 assists in 15 minutes of EuroLeague action this season.

This season, Zenit's head coach Xavi Pascual was always short of point guards.

His primary playmaker Shabazz Napier suffered an ankle injury in the preseason. Meanwhile, his backup Dmitry Kulagin also missed six EuroLeague games.

Recently, Zenit added another point guard Tyson Carter. He was practicing with the team lately and was registered for the VTB League game. However, Carter didn't enter the court in Monday's win against CSKA Moscow.

BasketNews reported on Monday that Arturas Gudaitis also would be sidelined indefinitely due to an ankle injury.

Zenit currently stand 4th in the EuroLeague (12-6). They host AS Monaco on January 20.
