Georgios Papagiannis named EuroLeague's Round 34 MVP

A stunning individual performance in a winning effort allowed Georgios Papagiannis of Panathinaikos OPAP Athens to earn Round 34 MVP honors with a performance index rating of 31.

Papagiannis led Panathinaikos to a 59-62 road victory against Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul. He finished the game with 14 points on 6-for-8 two-point and 2-of-2 free-throw shooting, adding 12 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals, and 4 blocks to amass a PIR of 31.

Jan Vesely of Fenerbahce and David Lighty of LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne followed with PIRs of 29 each, but neither of their teams could win in Round 34.
