A strong showing from Nikola Mirotic and great team effort handed FC Barcelona (26-7) a win in the Spanish ACB League over RETAbet Bilbao (16-17) 84-62 (16-16, 27-19, 30-15, 11-12)
After the close first half, Nicola‘s Mirotic 12 points in the third quarter alone initiated a 16-6 run at the start of the third quarter and Barcelona increased the lead to 23 points (73-50).
That essentially made the fourth quarter a formality, as the hosts maintained a huge advantage the rest of the way.
Nikola Mirotic was the top performer for the winners, accumulating 18 points (4/5 2PT, 2/3 3PT, 4/4 FT), 6 rebounds and 26 PIR.
On the opposing side, Angel Delgado was the high-scorer for Bilbao, ending with 18 points (8/15 2PT, 2/4 FT) and 6 rebounds.
