FC Barcelona is in advanced talks with one of the most impressive EuroLeague rookies, Oscar da Silva, sources tell BasketNews.
According to sources, it's more than likely that a 23-year-old big leaves ALBA Berlin after the season.
Da Silva would join Jan Vesely (reportedly), Nikola Mirotic, Sertac Sanli, Pierre Oriola, and James Nnaji in Barcelona's frontline.
In his rookie season, Da Silva averaged 8.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 9.7 PIR in 33 EuroLeague games.
Da Silva had his season-high 22 points and 26 PIR in a win against Fenerbahce Istanbul.
In the first 9 EuroLeague games, the German scored 14.3 points and had 3.6 rebounds on average.
In the German Bundesliga, da Silva averages 11.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.1 blocks, 1.1 steals, and 16.1 PIR.
ALBA are currently fighting in the semifinals.
