Mike James not enough for Monaco, as Orthez force Game 4 in the LNB semis

AS Monaco needed the win to reach the French LNB finals, but saw hosts Elan Bearnais Pau-Lacq Orthez get the best of them by 82-76 (23-21, 19-21, 23-20, 17-14) in Game 3 of the semi-finals.

With this result, the team coached by Sasa Obradovic are leading the best-of-five series 2-1 ahead of Game 4, which will be played on Thursday, June 9, again hosted by Pau Orthez (20:30 CEST).

The team that reaches 3 wins will be facing LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne in the final. The other EuroLeague team made light work of Dijon (3-0) and will have the chance to defend its title.
