Unicaja announce the signing of Kendrick Perry

Unicaja Malaga made an official statement this afternoon of the signing of point guard Kendrick Perry. He lands in Malaga from Buducnost Podgorica, where he played for the second half of the previous season.

29-year-old point guard started the season with Panathinaikos OPAP Athens, where he made his debut in the EuroLeague. He has averaged 4.8 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists per games played for the club in the EuroLeague.

In January, he signed for Buducnost, with whom he played in the Adriatic League (averaging 10.5 points, 3 assists and 1.1 steals) and in EuroCup (averaging 10.1 points, 2.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists).

Born in Florida, Perry attended Edgewater High School and went on to study at Youngstown State University.

In the summer of 2014, he participated in the NBA Summer League with the Orlando Magic and then signed with the Sydney Kings in Australia, where he averaged 10.4 points and 2.4 assists per game.

In Europe he also played in Hungary (BC Egis Kormend), Macedonia (KK Karpos Sokoli), Russia (BC Nizhny Novgorod), Serbia (KK Mega Mozzart), France (Levallois Metropolitans) and Slovenia (Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana).

He has a Montenegrin passport, so he will be able to play as a European.
