Following the departure of Alec Peters, Bitci Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz officially reported about the reinforcement of Daulton Hommes.
The American forward arrives in Vitoria for the next two seasons.
The 26-year-old Hommes is the first signing of Joan Penarroya's new project, coming off a season with the Birmingham Squadron in the NBA G League. He averaged 13.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.3 assists over 14 games for the New Orleans Pelicans affiliate last season.
Hommes has already played in Europe when representing Vanoli Cremona in the 2020-21 season. In the Italian top league, he registered 16.4 points and 4.6 rebounds throughout 28 matches.
The 2.03-meter Hommes is a versatile player who made his G League and professional debut with the Austin Spurs in 2019-20.
