Darrun Hilliard is expected to play in the next EuroLeague game against Valencia Basket.
After a temporary suspension, which forced Darrun Hilliard to miss several training sessions with the team and a EuroLeague match against FC Bayern Munich, the player is set to return to the Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv squad.
According to Omri Manhime of Sport 5, Hilliard will rejoin Maccabi's training sessions and is expected to be on the 12-man roster for Maccabi's next EuroLeague game against Valencia Basket on Thursday.
The Israeli powerhouse suspended Hilliard after his tweet following the domestic league loss to Hapoel Jerusalem, 75-80.
The suspension provoked many reactions on social media, with EuroLeague stars providing their view on the entire situation.
Hilliard, 29, is averaging 4.8 points, 1.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 4.3 PIR over six EuroLeague games this season.
He has already missed a month of basketball action due to a knee injury (a partial tear to his MCL).
Maccabi share 9th-12th places in the EuroLeague table with 5 wins and 6 losses.
